Termites? Get an Injury Lawyer.

What do termites have to do with a personal injury lawyer? When termites start to eat your house often no one is physically injured, so I can understand the confusion.

A friend saw our billboard about termite damage and asked how I got into the bug business. Well, I am not solely in the bug business, but I am solidly in the bad products business.

In termite cases, the problem is often caused by using inferior chemicals or applying the chemicals inappropriately. To get the homeowner paid, it will most likely take expert testimony, investigations, and an understanding of the law. Just like my other personal injury cases.

Yes, most of our bad product injury cases involve someone getting hurt. Here are some examples, a badly designed hip joint that causes severe pain, a kitchen appliance that burns someone, or a car that accelerates out of control injuring the driver. But sometimes a bad product causes, not injury, but damage … just like in a termite infestation.

Every personal injury case is unique, and I am always learning something. I have learned a lot about termite damage and the way pest control companies work. The reality may shock you. There is a reason you got termites when the company promised you would not.

If you suffer a loss like termite damage or a traditional personal injury like an auto accident or slip and fall, you can talk to us at the Law Firm of Eiland and Ritchie for free. We want to help you get back on your feet. We are working remotely mostly but are always available.

Also, join us on NBC 15 LawCall here in Mobile every Sunday night at 10:30 right after the news. We will take your calls live. We are experimenting with new ways to do the show and still follow the CDC guidelines. You might want to see what we have come up with.
